Naxos is a small island in the Aegean Sea which is home to Dream's son, Orpheus, and the family of caretakers who has been watching over him for centuries. The last generations to do so were Andros Rhodocanakis, his son-in-law, Kris, and his grandson.
Naxos is also the final resting place of Lady Johanna Constantine, her grave lies beneath a flowering cherry tree. Every spring day, since the grave was established, the caretaker on the island plucked a bloom from the tree and placed it on the lady's grave.[1]
It is not far from Destruction's last hiding place on Earth before his discovery by Dream and Delirium. He had liked Orpheus, and had thought of visiting, "...walking over and just saying hello..." but ultimately decided against it.
